Posted by Daniel Moen was born in Muntinlupa, Manila, Philippines in 1988 and grew up in Washington Township, a small town outside of Detroit, Michigan.
The Moen family was given documents explaining his birth family. In 2014, using the documents, Dan sent private messages on Facebook. In 2017, he tried again, and was quickly reunited with them. No agencies were involved! Dan flew back to the Philippines and was reunited with his family and biological mother while documenting it on his YouTube channel.
Dan is part of the LGBT+ community and currently with his partner, Joe, of 9 years.
#LetMeListenToYou; a community organization of networking and meaningful dialogue on heavy topics, he is also the co-founder of. Dan volunteers his Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design and Photography creativity to Paaralang Pilipino, a Filipino School in Southfield, Michigan.
His belief is family runs deeper than blood, its community.
